What is Scheduled Personal Articles coverage?
Scheduled Personal Articles coverage, a specialty program from Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company of Michigan and Farm Bureau General Insurance Company of Michigan, provides insurance for your valuable possessions that may not be adequately protected by a homeowners policy.
We have found that many of our insureds have interesting hobbies for which they purchase valuable equipment. For that reason we have developed the Scheduled Personal Articles policy to meet your needs.
What kinds of articles can be covered?
Boats and boating equipment, fine art, stamp and coin collections, photographic equipment, sports equipment, recreational vehicles, electronic equipment, musical instruments, silverware, jewelry, and furs. Other kinds of valuable articles can also be covered.
What types of coverages are available?
- Special coverage to protect your valuable personal possessions;
- Named Peril coverage for the unusual risk;
- Building materials coverage to cover the building materials of a specific dwelling construction project.
