If your vehicle is safe to drive, your Claim Representative will need:
- One repair estimate from the body shop of your choice; and
- Clear photos to show all damages. (Your agent can take the pictures if you need assistance.)

If your vehicle is not safe to drive* a Field Auto Appraiser will contact you to schedule an inspection of the vehicle. Note: Please provide a daytime location of your auto, so it can be assigned to the appropriate appraiser.
*Some examples of what makes a vehicle unsafe to drive: Suspension damage; fluid leaks; improperly shutting doors, hood, or trunk lid; two inoperable head or tail lights; broken window that cannot be temporarily covered; broken windshield that impairs vision; damaged safety equipment (airbags, seatbelts); or any issue that would cause further damage if the vehicle were driven (tire rubbing on a fender).
